This course was offered in collaboration with the Institute for Sustainable Economic Development at BOKU University as part of the project “Participatory Development of Representative Agricultural Pathways for Austria - RAPs.AT” supported by the 8th ACRP Call [KR15AC8K12675].
RAPs.AT
Climate change research heavily depends on socio-economic and land use scenarios. The research project RAPs.AT develops Representative Agricultural Pathways (RAPs) for Europe aligned to the global Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) and based on a stakeholder process. The resulting RAPs will be publicly available for any quantitative climate change study. RAPs contribute to an improved comparability of methods and results, support qualitative studies, and better designed policies.
The goal of the course is for researchers to learn how to use the TOA‐MD model with data from
their own projects.
